HCLTech and Anthropic Form Global Premier Partnership to Accelerate Governed Enterprise Agentic AI

Global technology company HCLTech has announced a landmark Global Premier Partnership with AI pioneer Anthropic to drive enterprise adoption of safe, governed Agentic AI. Under this alliance, HCLTech will establish a dedicated Anthropic Business Unit complete with a Center of Excellence (CoE) to build domain-specific solutions. The CoE will provide secure sandbox environments where Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) can deploy Claude, assist clients with AI-native engineering methodologies, and train enterprise workforces to operate agentic workflows safely at scale.

Software Integration and Platform Deployment:
As an Anthropic Independent Software Vendor (ISV) partner, HCLSoftware will integrate advanced Claude capabilities including Claude and Claude Code into its core product ecosystem. Key platform integrations include:

HCLSoftware Ecosystem: Direct embedding into flagship cybersecurity, automation, and application development tools, such as HCL BigFix and HCL AppScan, as well as enabling the Actian AI analyst.

HCLTech AI Force Platform: Claude models will be incorporated into HCLTech’s proprietary agentic software engineering platform, AI Force, targeting IT support, automated code remediation, and digital employee services.

Governance and Oversight: All agentic workflows will feature policy guardrails, exception handling, and human oversight for high-impact enterprise changes.
