Godrej Wealth Enters Hyderabad, Expanding South Indian Footprint with Target to Reach ₹1 Lakh Crore AUM
Godrej Wealth, the wealth management arm of the Godrej Industries Group, has announced its entry into Hyderabad, marking its expansion into South India. This launch forms a key milestone in the firm’s strategic roadmap to establish a presence across 35 locations and achieve ₹1 lakh crore in Assets Under Management (AUM) by 2031. Godrej Wealth will focus on serving High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs) and Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals (UHNIs) with investable assets of ₹5 crore and above across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Hyderabad represents a major wealth center, accounting for 6.3% of India’s UHNW population—up from 5% in 2015—and hosting approximately 19,800 millionaire households. The city’s economic growth is reflected in its mutual fund AUM, which reached ₹1.84 lakh crore in July 2026, recording an 18% year-on-year growth. As a hub for pharmaceuticals and Global Capability Centers (GCCs) employing over three lakh professionals, Hyderabad presents a strong demographic of business families, entrepreneurs, and global executives.
