Design Democracy 2026 Announces Fourth Edition at HITEX Hyderabad
Design Democracy, recognized as India’s most celebrated design festival, has officially announced its fourth flagship edition, scheduled to take place from September 18 to 20, 2026, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad. Over the past three years, the festival has grown into a major platform for architecture, interior design, furniture, lighting, and craftsmanship. The upcoming 2026 edition is set to be its largest showcase yet, drawing over 200 design brands, 150+ visionary speakers, and an estimated 30,000+ visitors spanning four distinct halls: Canvas, Muse, Atelier, and Alchemy.

It also features the Gallery of Sustainability curated by Jasem Pirani and Huzefa Rangwala of MuseLab, alongside Precious Objects curated by Monika and Sarah Choudhary of Habitat Architects. Additionally, visitors can explore The Art Edit curated by Anish Gawande in collaboration with Sakshi Art Gallery, as well as The Fabric of Design, a new immersive textile showcase featuring celebrated names like Gaurang Shah, Divani, and Yavi that explores the intersection of heritage, craftsmanship, and innovation.
