YS Jagan Mohan Reddy begins his padayatra by interacting with contract junior lecturers near Vedarakuppam village, G.D Nellore constituency.
They told Mr.Reddy that they have been working as contract lecturers since 2000 and urged to regularise their jobs and provide job security for them
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy assured that he would look into it and also conduct a comprehensive study across departments to solve the issues of regularisation of employees in the state.
Sharadamma, from CP Kandriga village met YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at Vedarakuppam village and shared her grievances.
During the meeting Sharadamma narrated the difficulty she has been facing after her son C.H Prabhu, who is a degree student died in a road accident on 13th June 2017. She informed the opposition leader that her son is a beneficiary of "Chandranna Bheema" insurance and despite continuos request to government authorities, she is yet to receive the insurance amount for her son's death.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy criticized the inefficient governance of TDP government and asked the local leaders to follow up with the authorities to help her get insurance amount.
Representatives of All India Dalit Rights Federation met YS Jagan Mohan Reddy near Bramhanapalli village, G.D Nellore constituency and submitted a memorandum requesting to fulfil their demands.
They requested opposition leader to sanction them cooperative loans from SC Corporation without linking banks and also to abolish G.O no. 25.
Mr. Reddy promised to look into it and take up all necessary steps for the welfare of SC/ST community.
