Kaikaluru: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu stated that the lands re-survey process would be completed by 2027 and Pattadar Passbooks bearing the official State emblem would be issued to farmers and landowners. He said that the Revenue records reforms 2026 were introduced with the objective of cleansing and streamlining the land recordpeand added that the coalition government was working with the sole agenda of resolving revenue-related problems.

Participating in distribution of ‘Mee Bhoomi–Mee Hakku’ Pattadar Passbooks at Kalidindi in the Kaikaluru Assembly constituency today the Chief Minister issued a Pattadar Passbook bearing the State emblem to a woman farmer Nallajarla Durga Bhavani.

Later addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said the double-engine government at the Centre and in the State is driving development at bullet speed and resolved the issue of land allotted to ex-servicemen who had participated in the Second World War which were placed under Section 22-A and issued them pattas. He said the destruction caused by the previous government between 2019 and 2024 resulted in damage to revenue records. Lands and properties belonging to people who were digitally placed under 22-A, creating disputes.When the coalition government came to power in 2024, large number of complaints relating to land issues started pouring in.

The Chief Minister said the state government incorporating strong security features, similar to those used for currency into Pattadar Passbooks. Blockchain technology has been used to prevent tampering with property details. QR codes and other technology-based security features have also been incorporated.So far, 32.22 lakh Pattadar Passbooks have been handed over to farmers and landowners. During the next seven months, we will complete the re-survey in 9,365 villages and issue 68.64 lakh Pattadar Passbooks.

The Chief Minister said that land-related problems covering nearly 41,000 acres had been resolved so far, benefiting more than 1.27 lakh farmers, industries and members of the public. He said 1.36 lakh acres had been freed from the freehold restrictions.The government has taken up the digitisation of old land records, including 1-B, Adangal, DKT, ARC, Inam and Ceiling records. All link documents will be made available online. So far, nearly nine lakh people have been provided the facility of auto-mutation. The re-survey is being conducted in the presence of farmers. After obtaining e-KYC, Pattadar Passbooks bearing the State emblem are being printed and distributed by conducting Gram Sabhas to ensure that the passbooks are distributed in a completely transparent manner.

The Chief Minister sanctioned Rs.36 crore to Kaikaluru to address the drinking water problem in the Kolleru region.

The Chief Minister said the government has been providing subsidised power to the aquaculture sector at Rs.1.50 per unit irrespective of the zone.Though this has placed an additional burden of Rs.1,150 crore on the government. This subsidised power will now also benefit 12,500 farmers in non-aquaculture zones.

The Chief Minister strongly criticised the opposition, alleging that it was resorting to conspiracies and creating disturbances in the State.

The Chief Minister said the government has provided a subsidy of Rs.10 per kg of tobacco and also spoke to the Centre to facilitate loans of Rs.50,000 per barn.

Stating that coalition government is keen on protecting law and order, the Chief Minister made it clear that nobody will be spared if they violate rules, even they belongs to ruling party. When a TDP leader behaved inappropriately towards a woman in Guntur he was suspended. A case was registered and an inquiry is underway. The Chief Minister made it clear that whoever causes inconvenience to the people will not be spared.

Later, the Chief Minister distributed tractors to farmers and visited the stalls set up at the venue.
