CM Chandrababu Conferred ‘Business Reformer of the Year’ Award by The Economic Times
Recognition for transformative reforms, investor-friendly policies, and industrial growth in Andhra Pradesh
Amaravati, December 18: In a significant recognition of visionary leadership and transformative governance, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has been selected for the prestigious ‘Business Reformer of the Year’ award by the country’s leading business daily, The Economic Times.
The award acknowledges the Chief Minister’s proactive implementation of business-friendly policies, far-reaching industrial reforms, and sustained efforts in positioning Andhra Pradesh as a preferred investment destination. Under his leadership, the state has attracted large-scale domestic and global investments, strengthening economic growth and employment generation.
The award will be formally presented to the Chief Minister by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at a special ceremony scheduled to be held in March.
The selection was made by a distinguished, high-level jury comprising some of India’s most respected industrialists, financial experts, and legal luminaries. The jury includes Bharti Group Chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal, JSW Group Chairman Sajjan Jindal, Kotak Mahindra Bank Founder Uday Kotak, Narayana Health Founder Dr. Devi Shetty, Senior Advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, and Tata Trusts Chairman Noel Tata, among others. Deloitte served as the knowledge and advisory partner to the jury.
In previous years, the ‘Business Reformer of the Year’ award has been conferred on eminent leaders such as Ashwini Vaishnaw (2024), S. Jaishankar (2023), Nirmala Sitharaman (2021), former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis (2019), Arun Jaitley (2017), and Piyush Goyal (2015).
