About PM‑VBRY
Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PM‑VBRY) is a flagship Employment‑Linked Incentive (ELI) Scheme of the Government of India. It promotes formal employment, supports first‑time entrants into the organised workforce, and incentivises employers to create additional jobs. Under the scheme, eligible first‑time employees receive one month’s wage, up to ₹15,000, while employers are provided with incentives for generating additional employment over a two‑year period. In the manufacturing sector, this support is extended for an additional two years, encouraging sustained job creation in labour‑intensive industries.
