Pooja Hegde, Harish Shankar, Anil Ravipudi & V. V. Vinayak Add Star Power to Zee Telugu’s Entertainment-Packed Weekend

Celebrating television’s favourite stars to bringing audiences closer to the personalities behind Telugu cinema, Zee Telugu is set to deliver a weekend of entertainment, recognition and candid conversations. The Zee Telugu Kutumbam Awards 2026 Part-1 airs on Saturday, October 31, at 5 PM, followed by Jayammu Nischayammu Raa Season 2 on Sunday, November 1, at 7:30 PM, featuring actress Pooja Hegde and filmmaker Harish Shankar in conversation with host Jagapathi Babu.

Hosted by Sudheer and Ravi, the Kutumbam Awards celebrate the artists, characters and stories that have become an integral part of Zee Telugu’s connection with its viewers. The evening will bring together popular television actors and Tollywood personalities for a celebration featuring performances, special tributes and awards recognising excellence across the channel’s programming.

The awards span a range of categories, including Bangaru Kutumbam, Love Birds of Zee Telugu, Uttama Bharya Bharthalu, Dream Couple, Best Entertaining Couple, Uttama Serial and Aarambham Oka Aduguthone Awards. Individual honours such as Best Anchor, Best Entertaining Judge, Uttama Kathanayaki, Jayam Manadera and Uttama Prathinayaki Senior Awards will recognise the performers and personalities who have made a lasting impression on audiences.

Adding to the evening’s star quotient, Anil Ravipudi, V. V. Vinayak, Catherine Tresa, Ali and singer Mano, along with the team of Caste and popular on-screen couple Mouli and Shivani, will participate in the celebrations as award presenters. With engaging performances and heartfelt interactions between artists and their admirers, the event promises a tribute to the talent and relationships that define the Zee Telugu family.

The weekend continues with a different kind of star encounter on Jayammu Nischayammu Raa Season 2, where Jagapathi Babu welcomes Pooja Hegde and Harish Shankar for a conversation that goes beyond the usual celebrity interview. Known to Telugu audiences as the Butta Bomma, Pooja Hegde joins the acclaimed filmmaker to share experiences, anecdotes and perspectives from their journeys in cinema.

Their conversation also brings back memories of Duvvada Jagannadham (DJ), the Telugu action-comedy starring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde and directed by Harish Shankar. The episode offers an opportunity to revisit their professional association while discovering the stories and experiences behind their on-screen work. With Jagapathi Babu at the helm, viewers can expect candid exchanges, humour and personal insights from both guests.

From recognising television talent at a star-studded awards celebration to exploring the journeys of two familiar names from Telugu cinema, Zee Telugu’s weekend line-up offers audiences two distinct experiences, united by a shared celebration of entertainment.
