Introducing Aafia Sayed As The Beautiful, Yet Arrogant Rukmini In Nani Presents, Nithiin’ Alias Rukmini

Following the success of COURT – State Vs A Nobody, Natural Star Nani’s Unanimous Productions present another interesting project Alias Rukmini, featuring Nithiin in the lead. The film, billed to be a unique entertainer, is directed by Dhandora fame Murali Kanth Devasoth and produced by Deepthi Ganta.

Meanwhile, the makers have officially announced Bollywood actress Aafiya Sayed as the female lead opposite Nithiin. The new glimpse presents Rukmini as a formidable schoolteacher whose students have given her nicknames such as devil, Hitler, and homework police. She makes her presence felt by writing her name on the board with an angry expression before staring sternly at the students.

Her commanding and arrogant behaviour forms the central highlight of the introduction. Aafiya looks beautiful and aptly fitting as arrogant Rukmini in the glimpse.

The project has already begun attracting attention, particularly after its announcement glimpse showcased the film’s distinctive flavour of humour. The positive response has added to the growing curiosity surrounding the movie, with Nithiin’s unconventional characterisation emerging as one of its major attractions. The film promises to present the actor in a refreshing avatar, backed by a story that combines romantic elements with an intriguing central conflict. The first look poster was also well received.

Alias Rukmini revolves around Krishna, a man whose uncomplicated existence takes an unexpected turn when love brings a closely guarded secret to the surface. As personal relationships collide with social perceptions, the story delves into the complexities of truth, acceptance and the boundaries imposed by society.

Jomon T. John ISC is handling the cinematography, while Vijai Bulganin is composing the music. Avinash Kolla takes care of production design, and Srujana Adusumilli is overseeing the editing.

While the production nears completion and post-production work progresses alongside filming, the film is getting ready for release on December 4.
