Shree Cement Expands ‘Project Naman’ Eligibility on Air Force Day to Support More Families of Martyrs
On the occasion of Indian Air Force Day 2026, Shree Cement Limited announced a significant extension of its flagship CSR initiative, Project Naman, reaffirming its steadfast commitment to supporting the families of personnel who have lost their lives in service to the nation. By signing formal addendums to existing Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with the Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB) (Ministry of Defence) and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) (Ministry of Home Affairs), the company extended the eligibility cut-off date from January 1, 2019, to January 1, 2026. This vital update ensures that more families of eligible Armed Forces and CRPF martyrs can benefit from the scheme. Additionally, formalization processes to extend similar eligibility to the Border Security Force (BSF) and Assam Rifles are underway.

The addendums were formally signed at dedicated events by key representatives:
Kendriya Sainik Board Addendum: Signed by Air Commodore V. P. Singh (Secretary, KSB) and Mr. Vishal Bhardwaj (Head – CSR, Shree Cement Limited).
CRPF Addendum: Signed by Shri Vinay Kumar Singh (DIG – Welfare, CRPF) and Mr. Vishal Bhardwaj.
Under Project Naman, eligible Next of Kin of martyrs are provided cement free of cost for the construction of a new home, offering practical, lasting support to build secure and permanent housing while honoring the legacy of their loved ones.
