GeeVees 2026: Godrej Celebrates the Vanguard of Indian Architecture and Sustainable Design
Hyderabad: The architectural landscape of India found its spotlight as Godrej Enterprises Group hosted the prestigious fifth edition of the GeeVees Awards 2026. Held on March 7 in the vibrant coastal state of Goa, the event served as a grand stage for over 2,100 architects and designers belonging to the Godrej Value Co-Creators Club (GVCC). The ceremony honored the brilliance, innovation, and commitment to sustainability that defined the industry throughout 2025.
Since its debut in 2021, GeeVees has transformed from a corporate initiative into a definitive industry benchmark. This year’s edition saw an unprecedented surge in entries across 15 diverse categories, ranging from sprawling institutional complexes to specialized residential designs.
A Rigorous Standard of Excellence
The winners were curated through a meticulous evaluation process by a jury of legends. Distinguished figures such as Ar. Vivek Singh Rathore, Ar. Charanjit Singh Shah, and Ar. Yatin Patel, among others, scrutinized projects based on their functional impact, aesthetic value, and environmental responsibility.
A spokesperson for the company emphasized that this year’s theme—innovation, sustainability, and purposeful design—raised the bar for future contenders. “We are witnessing a shift where thoughtfully designed spaces are no longer just about luxury; they are about elevating the human experience through responsible material choices and smart technology,” they noted.
Celebrating the Trailblazers
The awards spanned the full spectrum of the built environment. Notable winners included Compartment S4 for Public & Institutional Architecture, Manoj Patel for Commercial Projects in emerging towns, and Shreya & Vipul Sanghvi for the “Safest Projects” category—highlighting Godrej’s core legacy in security and architectural solutions.
Beyond the trophies, the GeeVees Awards functioned as a vital hub for knowledge exchange. Emerging professionals rubbed shoulders with industry veterans, fostering a collaborative ecosystem aimed at building a safer and smarter India. As the winners receive national visibility across Godrej’s expansive media networks, the event reinforces a collective vision: design is not just what it looks like, but how it works for the planet and its people.
