ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) has officially announced the introduction of two new heavy steel plate brands, STRUCTROMAX and WELDSTAR. Developed at the company’s advanced plate mill facility in Hazira, Gujarat, these product lines utilize cutting-edge rolling and heat-treatment technologies alongside strict metallurgical and quality controls to cater to India’s expanding infrastructure, manufacturing, construction, energy, transportation, and heavy engineering sectors.

Product Features: STRUCTROMAX and WELDSTAR
STRUCTROMAX: Engineered using Thermo-Mechanical Controlled Processing (TMCP), this brand is tailored for high-rise buildings, bridges, offshore projects, railways, and wind energy infrastructure. It delivers enhanced weldability, high load-bearing capacity, superior toughness, and long-term corrosion resistance to withstand extreme operational and climatic environments.

WELDSTAR: Positioned as a suite of ultra-high-strength steel plates, WELDSTAR is engineered to help manufacturers optimize structural weight, improve fuel efficiency, enhance payload capacities, and lower lifecycle costs. It is primarily targeted toward heavy applications such as cranes, mining equipment, and advanced transport systems.
