Srimad Bhagavata Saptaham concluded at Sri City Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple

The week-long Srimad Bhagavata Saptaham at the Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swami Temple in Sri City concluded on Tuesday, creating an inspiring spiritual atmosphere. Organised by the Srivani, Sri City’s spiritual and literary forum, the event featured dedicated participation from Bhakta Samajam members, who reverently recited the twelve skandhams of the epic that consists of 335 adhyaayams, and 18,000 slokas, over the course of seven days. Led by Bhayapu Reddy and S. Rama Subba Reddy, the 12 member team recited each day, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., in the temple’s premises, and a large numbers of devotees, including elders, women, and villagers from the Sri City region attended to listen to the discourse with deep respect.
In the conclusion ceremony, Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Managing Director, Sri City, honoured the members of Bhakta Samajam, recognizing their dedication and the successful completion of the event. Expressing gratitude to them, he said,”Srimad Bhagavatam has the power to open the paths for the Lord to enter our minds, offer us peace of mind and happiness, and finally lead us to salvation. Performing Srimad Bhagavata Saptaham is like a holy ‘Yagna’, which is auspicious, and extremely beneficial to the community.“
The event concluded with a special pooja dedicated to Sri Venkateswara Swamy, while students from Chinmaya Vidyalaya recited Bhagavad Gita verses. Arrangements for this significant occasion were overseen by Mr. Madhu Reddy, Mr. P.B.S. Sastry, and Mr. Palleti Balaji.
