VRV Asia Pacific Exports Made@Sri City Super-Sized Liquid Nitrogen Storage Tank to Egypt

Sri City, December 18, 2025: The Sri City based VRV Asia Pacific, a subsidiary of Chart Industries, has achieved a landmark international milestone by exporting a massive liquid nitrogen storage tank to Air Liquide in Egypt. This 531-kiloliter vessel, weighing 168 tonnes and stretching 39 meters, represents the pinnacle of cryogenic engineering and required complex multi-axle logistics to reach Chennai Port.

Hailing the export as a definitive triumph for the ‘Make in India’ initiative, Sri City MD Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy described the feat as a crowning success that cements VRV’s reputation for world-class cryogenic engineering.
