AP RTG Minister Nara Lokesh to skip NDA’s ‘Super 6 Super Hit’ event, will monitor early rescue efforts from the state RTG headquarters at Amaravati

In the wake of the ongoing unrest in Nepal, as many as 187 Telugu citizens have been identified as stranded in different locations across the country. Andhra Pradesh RTG (Real Time Governance) Minister Nara Lokesh is personally overseeing the rescue and safety measures. He will be proceeding to the state RTG center in Amaravati where he will personally monitor the position.

Due to unforeseen and concerning developments in Nepal, Minister Nara Lokesh has prioritised the evacuation of trapped Telugu citizens and will not be able to attend the NDA’s ‘Super Six Super Hit’ event scheduled in Anantapur today.

According to official information, the stranded citizens are spread across four locations:

– Bafal – 27 persons under the care of Sridharacharyulu

– Similkot – 12 persons with Kari Appa Rao

– Mahadev Hotel, Pashupati – 55 persons with Vijaya

– Pingalasthan, Gaushala – 90 persons

So far, a total of 187 Telugu people have been traced, and officials noted that the number may rise as more contacts are established.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has alerted Mr. Naveen Srivastava, Indian Ambassador to Nepal regarding the situation. The embassy is being kept informed to ensure early evacuation and safety arrangements for the stranded citizens.

Minister Nara Lokesh emphasized that the safety of Telugu citizens remains the top priority and assured that coordinated efforts are underway with central agencies and the Indian embassy to facilitate their rescue at the earliest.
