Sri City IALA To Launch Free Internal Shuttle Bus Service

The Sri City Industrial Area Local Authority (IALA) launched a free internal shuttle bus service on Thursday, to facilitate smooth commuting within Sri City. Mr. Vijaya Bharath Reddy, Zonal Manager, Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC), Tirupati, flagged off the service at Zero Point.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Vijaya Bharath Reddy highlighted that the shuttle service reflects IALA’s focus on creating a facilities that prioritise both industry and community welfare.

Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Managing Director, Sri City remarked that the initiative marks a significant step in strengthening Sri City’s infrastructure and reinforcing its commitment to sustainable and inclusive development. “It benefit employees, students, visitors, and the local public residing in the campus, local villages, ensuring convenient and eco-friendly mobility across the industrial hub,” he added.

The service can be availed by producing a valid photo identity card, making it accessible and secure for all stakeholders. Shuttle buses will operate every 45 minutes on all working days, connecting key points within Sri City and enhancing connectivity for the community’s daily needs.
