Rotary Club of Madras East Delegation Visits Sri City
A 22-member delegation from the Rotary Club of Madras East (RCME), led by its President, Rtn. Radhika Sathyanarayana, visited Sri City on Friday. The delegation comprised professionals from diverse fields, including entrepreneurs, industrialists, doctors, chartered accountants and other business and professional sectors. Mr. Vikram, MD, Artura Pharma, Sri City, who is a member of the club organised the visit.
The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Ramesh Kumar, Vice President (Customer Relations), who facilitated their visit and briefed them on the industrial park’s world-class infrastructure, strategic advantages and its emergence as a preferred destination for global industrial investments.
During an interactive session, Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Managing Director, Sri City said, ”We are pleased to welcome the RCME delegation to Sri City and appreciate their interest in understanding our integrated industrial ecosystem. Thanking Dr. Sannareddy for facilitating the visit, Rtn. Radhika Sathyanarayana, President, Rotary Club of Madras East, said that it had been an excellent and enriching experience for the members. She said they were highly impressed by Sri City’s scale, infrastructure and integrated planning, and had greatly enjoyed the presentations and the visit. She extended her best wishes for Sri City’s continued growth and prosperity.
During the visit, the delegation held detailed discussions with Sri City officials and sought insights into various aspects of the industrial park, including its operations, infrastructure and corporate social responsibility initiatives. The visitors also toured the campus and manufacturing facilities of Havells and Varun Beverages (PepsiCo), gaining firsthand exposure to the scale and diversity of manufacturing activities at Sri City.
