Telugu Association of Scotland Deepavali Veduka 2025

The Telugu Association of Scotland (TAS) hosted its spectacular Deepavali Veduka 2025 on Saturday, 18th October, at Milngavie Town Hall, Glasgow, drawing over 300 attendees from across Scotland. The celebration brought together Telugu families and the wider Indian community in a radiant display of culture, unity, and festive joy.
The event began with the traditional Jyothi Prajwalana by honorable Chairperson Mythili Kemburi along with past and present Executive Committees, followed by a series of dazzling performances curated by the Cultural Team led by Uday Kumar Kuchadi and Naresh Deekonda. From classical and devotional numbers to cinematic dances and creative skits, the cultural showcase reflected the talent and diversity of the Telugu community.
Esteemed dignitaries, including Consul General of India, Azad Singh, along with representatives from the Bihari community and the Karnataka Association, graced the event, reinforcing the spirit of inter-community harmony. Young anchors Badri Chellaboina, Tarun Vusikala, Josya Narakulla, and Nithya Thummalapalli impressed the audience with their lively hosting and confidence.

Behind the scenes, TAS executives — including Treasurer Vijay Kumar Raju Parri, Joint Secretary Niranjan Nooka, IT Secretary Zakir Shaik, Women’s & Projects Secretary Madhavilatha Danduri, Cultural Secretary Pandari Jain Polisetty, Sports Secretary Balaji Karnati, and Youth Secretary Rajashekar Samba — ensured flawless coordination and execution.
