“Oscar of Innovation” NETL R&D 100 Winner

Dr. Nageswara Lalam is a Research Scientist and Technical Lead at National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), US Department of Energy, Pittsburgh USA. Due to his research towards novel sensor technology development in monitoring dangerous greenhouse gas emissions and critical infrastructures, Dr. Lalam received a prestigious worldwide known innovation award "R&D 100 Award" in 2024. This award also known as "Noble Prize of Engineering", and “Oscar of Innovation”.
