TANA: The Telugu Association of North America (TANA) is associating with “Ritual and Reason,” a unique three-session summer seminar designed for high school students in the 9th grade and above. Hosted by Rishi Jasti, a member of TAGCA YUVA and a rising senior at NCSSM Durham, the program explores the science, philosophy, and meaning behind Hindu ritual practices.
Program Experience and Highlights:
The seminar aims to provide students with a deep understanding of traditions through several interactive methods:

Intellectual Inquiry: The curriculum includes philosophical exploration of Hindu traditions and university-style deep discussions.
Guest Expertise: The program features a guest talk by Sagar Rao, a PhD student in Philosophy and Religion at Princeton University, specializing in Asian philosophy.
Accessibility: The program is free to attend, with all necessary materials provided. It culminates in a community event where students share their perspectives with their families.
