Suriya Eyeing a Hat-Trick in 2026?

2026 is turning out to be a special year for Suriya, with the star enjoying back to back successes with Karuppu and Vishwanath and Sons. Now, he is reportedly aiming for a hattrick with his 47th film, which is being planned for a Diwali 2026 release.

Directed by Jeethu Madhavan, the film marks Suriya’s first appearance as a police officer. Nazriya Nazim and Naslen play key roles, while the shoot has already been completed and post-production is underway.

With several big Tamil releases also targeting the Diwali season, the makers are expected to finalize the release date soon. If the film succeeds, Suriya could complete a rare hat-trick of hits in a single calendar year.
