Ultraviolette Launches ‘Kill the Petrol Bill’ Programme to Accelerate EV Adoption
In response to rising petrol costs across India, Ultraviolette has introduced the ‘Kill the Petrol Bill’ programme to make the transition to electric mobility more accessible and rewarding for prospective two-wheeler buyers. This initiative aims to highlight the economic advantages of electric vehicles (EVs) by offering tangible financial benefits based on a rider’s past vehicle usage.
Programme Benefits:
The programme provides significant incentives for customers upgrading to the Ultraviolette F77 or X-47 models:
Cashback Incentive: Customers receive cashback equivalent to the number of kilometers covered on their previous two-wheeler in the last two years. For example, 20,000 km of riding results in ₹20,000 in cashback.
Total Benefit: Riders can unlock benefits of up to ₹30,000 toward the purchase of an Ultraviolette motorcycle, depending on their riding history.
Operational Savings: Beyond the initial purchase benefits, riders can save between ₹3,000 and ₹5,000 per month solely on fuel expenses by switching to the F77 or X-47.
Commitment to Electric Mobility:
Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and Co-founder of Ultraviolette, noted that the programme is designed to provide consumers with actionable support to reduce fuel dependency. The initiative aligns with the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, to fast-track the transition to electric mobility. By offering a blend of lower running costs, advanced technology, and superior performance, Ultraviolette aims to build greater consumer confidence in making the switch to electric two-wheelers nationwide.
