TVS Hikes Scooter Prices By Up To ₹11,000; iQube, Orbiter Most Affected

Prominent two-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Company has announced a price increase across its popular scooter lineup. The price hike is most prominently visible in its electric scooter segment, which has witnessed substantial upward revisions compared to its petrol counterparts.

The newly introduced Orbiter series experienced the steepest price bump. The Orbiter V1 saw a massive increase of ₹11,000, bringing its new price to ₹99,250, while the Orbiter V2 became costlier by ₹9,000, and is now priced at ₹1.14 lakh. In the iQube electric scooter range, the 3.5 kWh variant saw a price hike of ₹9,000, taking its cost to ₹1.42 lakh. The base 2.2 kWh model received a ₹5,000 increase, pushing its price to ₹1.16 lakh. Additionally, the iQube S (4.7 kWh) became dearer by ₹6,000, now costing ₹1.61 lakh, and the top-end iQube ST (5.3 kWh) saw a ₹3,000 hike, bringing its price to ₹1.75 lakh. However, the price of the 3.1 kWh variant remains unchanged.

TVS has also revised the prices of its traditional petrol-powered scooters. Depending on the variant, the Jupiter 110 models have seen a price increase ranging from ₹575 to ₹1,950. The more powerful Jupiter 125 models received a hike ranging between ₹875 and ₹2,410. Furthermore, the popular NTorq 125 Disc and Race Edition variants became dearer by ₹850 each. Following this revision, the NTorq 125 Disc variant is now priced at ₹83,350, while the Race Edition will cost ₹88,800.
