Over 2,000 Jawa, Yezdi, and BSA Riders Unite Nationwide to Celebrate India’s 80th Independence Day
To commemorate India’s 80th Independence Day, more than 2,000 riders of Jawa, Yezdi, and BSA motorcycles came together for nationwide rallies under the “Nomads” banner. The special event celebrated the core spirit of freedom inherent in motorcycling, uniting passionate riders across 150 dealership networks spanning diverse backgrounds, age groups, and riding styles.
The Nomads Identity and Armed Forces Tribute:
The Nomads platform serves as a unified identity for Jawa, Yezdi, and BSA enthusiasts, cutting across brand boundaries, regions, and generations to foster a strong sense of community. This Independence Day initiative builds upon Classic Legends’ recent partnership with the Indian Armed Forces for the Shaurya Vijay Yatra, which paid homage to the courage and sacrifice of Indian soldiers.
Leadership Perspectives:
Commenting on the nationwide celebrations, Anupam Thareja, Co-founder of Classic Legends, stated that motorcycling fundamentally represents the freedom to choose one’s path and share that journey with others. He noted that following last month’s tributes on Kargil Vijay Diwas, the Nomads community successfully gathered riders from all over the country to honor the shared spirit of freedom embodied by both the nation and its armed forces. As the Nomads Kommuniti continues to expand, such initiatives aim to strengthen bonds and cultivate lasting connections among riders nationwide.
