JSW MG Motor India Launches Hector Tomahawk EV and PHEV in Hyderabad with Innovative BaaS Pricing

JSW MG Motor India has expanded the reach of its newly launched SUV by bringing the MG Hector Tomahawk to Hyderabad. The launch event took place at MG Hyderabad in the presence of Indian actress Ananya Nagalla and Raam Group CEO Gunjeet Singh Sachdeva. Built on the Advanced Drive Architecture Platform Technology (ADAPT) India’s first Multi-New Energy Vehicle (NEV) platform the SUV is available with both Electric Vehicle (EV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) powertrains.

Hector Tomahawk EV BaaS Pricing: Available at an introductory Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) starting price of ₹13.99 lakh alongside a 4.90 Rs/Km battery rental for a limited number of bookings.

Hector Tomahawk PHEV BaaS Pricing: India’s first PHEV variant starts at a BaaS price of ₹21.79 lakh along with a 3.20 Rs/Km battery rental.

Warranty Offer: Both the EV and PHEV variants include a lifetime battery warranty for the first owner.

Performance, Range, and Technological Features:
The Hector Tomahawk EV features a 69.2 kWh MAGIC Battery paired with a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor that delivers 150 kW of power, 310 Nm of torque, and a claimed range of 517 km on a single charge. Meanwhile, the Hector Tomahawk PHEV combines a 1.5-litre petrol engine, a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), and a 20.5 kWh battery pack to deliver over 115 km of pure-electric range and a combined driving range exceeding 1,100 km.

Measuring 4,745 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width, and 1,770 mm in height with a 2,810 mm wheelbase, the SUV is the tallest and among the longest in its segment. Key technological and convenience highlights include:
