Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles Launches ‘Jawa All Stars’ Lineup with the 42 FJ

Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has introduced Jawa All Stars, a new initiative celebrating the core values of character, conduct, and courage that define its rider community. The debut expression of this philosophy arrives through the updated Jawa 42 FJ, blending contemporary performance with the brand’s signature neo-classic design language.

Philosophy and Design Inspiration:

The All Stars concept draws inspiration from the enduring symbolism of the star as an insignia of identity, recognition, and belonging. According to Classic Legends Co-founder Anupam Thareja, the initiative honors riders who prioritize individuality and substance over passing trends. The Jawa 42 FJ brings this vision to life via a sporty stance, detailed finish, and segment-first brushed aluminium tank panels. Recognized previously as the Viewer’s Choice Motorcycle of the Year in 2024 and 2025, the motorcycle continues to stand out in India’s neo-classic segment.

Engine Performance and Mechanical Specifications:

At the heart of the Jawa 42 FJ is a 334-cc liquid-cooled, DOHC single-cylinder engine featuring a fuel injection system and an 11:1 compression ratio. It delivers 29.17 PS of power at 7,500 rpm and 29.62 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The powertrain is paired with a constant-mesh six-speed gearbox and features a twin exhaust setup.

Built around a robust double-cradle frame, the motorcycle weighs 184 kg and offers a 12-litre fuel tank capacity, a 1,440 mm wheelbase, a 790 mm seat height, and 178 mm of ground clearance. Suspension duties are managed by 41 mm telescopic front forks and gas-filled twin rear shock absorbers featuring five-step adjustable preload. Stopping power is provided by a 320 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc equipped with dual-channel ABS and floating calipers. It rides on a 100/90-18 front tyre and a 140/70 R17 rear tyre designed to optimize cornering stability.
