InvoiceCloud Announces ₹350 Crore Growth Plan for Hyderabad Global Innovation Hub
Digital billing and payment solutions provider InvoiceCloud has announced a three-year growth plan of approximately ₹350 crore to strengthen its Global Innovation Hub in Hyderabad. The investment will support team expansion, modern infrastructure, artificial intelligence initiatives, and product development, building on the site’s ongoing contributions to the company’s global platform. Headquartered in the United States, InvoiceCloud serves over 3,250 customers across utility, government, and insurance sectors, processing more than $40 billion in payments annually.
Productivity Gains, AI Capabilities, and Operational Expansion:
Since establishing its Hyderabad operations in 2024, InvoiceCloud has scaled its India workforce to over 250 employees, with plans to reach 300 by the end of 2026. More than 70% of the India team works in core engineering and product roles. AI integration has driven significant operational efficiency, resulting in a 120% year-over-year increase in per-engineer productivity. Notably, the Hyderabad team developed and launched InvoiceCloud’s agentic AI customer self-service capability, known as the Service Module, in under six months. To accommodate this growth, the company expanded its Hyderabad office footprint by 50% to 33,000 square feet. The updated workplace also features a permanent mural co-created with the Aravani Art Project, reflecting the company’s focus on workplace inclusion.
Leadership Perspectives:
Kevin O’Brien, Chief Executive Officer of InvoiceCloud, stated: “Hyderabad is becoming a bigger part of how we build for our customers, and that’s being driven by the results the team is delivering. This investment gives us the people, technology and capacity to build on that progress over the next three years.”
Biju Davis, Senior Vice President and India Site Leader at InvoiceCloud, noted: “The team in Hyderabad took the Service Module, our agentic AI self-service capability for consumers, from development to launch in under six months. That’s a good example of how we’re combining strong engineering talent with AI to solve customer problems and move faster.”
