HCCB Debuts India’s Fastest Kinley Water Production Line at Telangana Facility

SIDDIPET:  Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB), a premier FMCG giant in India, has reached a new milestone in manufacturing excellence with the commissioning of a groundbreaking high-speed production line for Kinley water. The new line is located at the Avinya manufacturing plant (Telangana Greenfield Factory) in Banda Thimmapur, solidifying the facility’s status as one of the most technologically advanced sites in the company’s network.

Unmatched Speed and Scale:
The Avinya plant, spanning 49 acres with a planned investment exceeding INR 2,000 crore, now houses what is officially the fastest packaged drinking water line within the Coca-Cola India Southwest Asia (INSWA) system.

The technical specifications of the new installation set a staggering industry benchmark.

• Kinley 500 ml PET: Up to 1,350 bottles per minute (BPM).
• Kinley 1-litre PET: Up to 1,000 bottles per minute (BPM).

This surge in capacity allows HCCB to meet growing market demand with unprecedented precision and responsiveness.

Smart Automation and Quality Control:
Beyond mere speed, the production line is anchored by an integrated automation framework. A centralized Human–Machine Interface (HMI) provides operators with real-time visibility and control, ensuring that every bottle meets consistent quality standards.

The facility also features a sophisticated water purification process utilizing mineral injection and ozonisation technology, ensuring that the final product maintains the purity and taste profiles consumers expect from the Kinley brand.

Commitment to Sustainability:
In line with global environmental goals, the new line is as efficient as it is fast. By employing advanced lamella pack technology, the system achieves up to 90% water recovery. This significant reduction in waste reinforces HCCB’s commitment to responsible water management and resource conservation in the region.

Furthermore, the machinery is optimized for high energy efficiency. Real-time monitoring systems are in place to minimize downtime and facilitate rapid product changeovers, ensuring that the facility operates at peak performance with minimal environmental impact.
