Greenply Launches Termivax India’s First Anti-Termite Vaccinated Plywood Technology
Greenply Industries Limited has officially introduced Termivax, marking India’s first anti-termite vaccinated plywood powered by advanced nanotechnology, with a patent application currently filed. Announced on August 3, 2026, this innovation aims to disrupt the Indian interior infrastructure market by establishing new benchmarks in durability, lifetime protection, and termite defense a persistent issue exacerbated by damp conditions and the monsoon season.
Unlike traditional surface treatments that offer only temporary relief and wear down due to cutting, drilling, or moisture exposure, Termivax integrates protection directly into the plywood manufacturing process. Its proprietary nanotechnology compound penetrates deep into every layer and corner, ensuring comprehensive, long-term internal defense for residential, commercial, and institutional projects. The new technology has been thoroughly tested and approved by the Indian Plywood Industries Research & Training Institute (IPIRTI).
Leadership Perspective:
Highlighting the strategic importance of the launch, Sanidhya Mittal, Joint Managing Director of Greenply Industries Limited, stated:
“At Greenply, innovation has always been guided by one simple objective: to solve real consumer challenges through meaningful technology. Termite damage continues to be one of the biggest concerns for homeowners, particularly in a country like India where climatic conditions often accelerate infestations. This innovation reflects our commitment to continuously raising industry benchmarks by delivering advanced, more dependable and future-ready solutions for consumers which make your interior & home interior long last.”
