Global Brotherhood 24th International Jawa-Yezdi Day Unites 7500+ Riders
The International Jawa-Yezdi Day (IJYD) celebrated its 24th anniversary, cementing its status as one of the world’s most enduring and authentic rider-led traditions. What originated two decades ago as a grassroots passion project among a small circle of owners has transformed into a global phenomenon, bridging the gap between vintage heritage models and modern-day machines.
2026 Milestone: By Riders, For Riders
This year’s edition witnessed an unprecedented scale of participation, proving that the spirit of the brand remains as vibrant as ever:
Scale: Over 7,500+ riders participated across 150+ cities in India.
Collaboration: The event was powered by the collective efforts of more than 40 enthusiast clubs, independent rider communities, and dealership networks.
Global Reach: The celebration transcended borders, with enthusiasts in 11 countries joining the movement through local rides and digital participation.
More Than Just Motorcycles:
At its core, IJYD is a celebration of the human connection forged through motorcycling. By bringing together generations from owners of classic, decades-old motorcycles to those riding the latest models the event fosters a unified narrative of friendship and shared history.
Anupam Thareja, Co-founder of Classic Legends, reflected on the journey:
“Twenty-four years ago, International Jawa-Yezdi Day began as a simple expression of passion… Today, it has grown into a global tradition that transcends borders and generations. What makes IJYD truly special is that it belongs to the riders themselves.”
The Road Ahead:
The success of this year’s edition highlights the resilience of a community built by riders, for riders. By linking celebrations across various geographies under a common identity, the event has successfully transformed a local love for iconic engineering into a powerful, interconnected global brotherhood that continues to grow stronger with every passing year.
