Anand Mahindra Unveils Jawa All Stars 42 Bobber at Global Chess League 2026

Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra officially unveiled the Jawa All Stars 42 Bobber during the Global Chess League 2026, marking “Strike Two” in the expanding Jawa All Stars chapter. Recognized as India’s first purpose-built bobber, the motorcycle features an unmistakable cantilever seat design paired with a rear mono-shock suspension. Having won the ‘Style Icon of the Year’ award in 2026, the model stands out for its road presence and cultural individuality. The launch event brought together world-class chess talent and automotive enthusiasts, drawing parallels between the strategic, independent thinking required on a chessboard and the personal conviction embodied by riders.

Design Innovations and New Colourways:
The new All Stars edition of the 42 Bobber integrates fresh colourways, specialized chequered graphics, and unique All Stars insignia designed to represent independent thinking and self-expression. Among the new options is the All Stars Silver Knight, which draws inspiration from the chequered patterns found in both chess and motorcycle racing. Additionally, the motorcycle is offered in the coveted All Stars Shadow Black finish, which wraps its floating single-seat silhouette in a matte-black aesthetic. Across India, the motorcycle is available in six distinct color variants starting at an ex-showroom Delhi price of Rs. 2,08,942, including options like Mystic Copper, Jasper Red, Shadow Black, and Black Mirror.

Performance and build metrics for the Jawa All Stars 42 Bobber include a 334 cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine delivering a maximum power of 29.9 PS at 7500 rpm and a maximum torque of 30.01 Nm at 5500 rpm. The machine is built on a double cradle frame with a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox, featuring telescopic forks in the front and a gas-filled mono-shock absorber with 7-step adjustable pre-load in the rear. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes with dual-channel ABS on both ends, complemented by a 177 kg total weight, a 12.5-liter fuel tank capacity, a 1485 mm wheelbase, a 740 mm seat height, and a 145 mm ground clearance.
