Almost Gods Launches First Store in Hyderabad at Jubilee Hills; Introduces Architectural Retail Space
Contemporary Indian streetwear and fashion brand Almost Gods has officially opened its flagship store in Hyderabad, located on Road Number 10, Jubilee Hills. The 24-foot-high retail space features an oval glass façade and an interior designed with raw wood, stone, and locally quarried, uncut Hyderabad rock integrated directly as display fixtures. Conceived as an extension of the brand’s visual identity, the store combines retail with hospitality by co-housing specialty coffee brand True Black Coffee. The launch event on November 1 was organized as a cultural gathering bringing together fashion, music, art, and local creators.
Brand Philosophy and Retail Expansion:
Founded in New Delhi by Dhruv Khurana, Almost Gods builds its design language around themes of mysticism, mythology, and history, integrated with modern Indian craft. The brand treats its physical locations as experiential spaces exploring scale, materiality, and human connection. Expanding from ₹10 lakh in its first year to a projected revenue of approximately ₹30 crore, Almost Gods currently operates nearly 30 retail doors and three exclusive brand outlets with a 40+ member team. The company aims to reach a ₹100 crore-plus business within the next three years, driven by domestic retail expansion and international direct-to-consumer demand.
Leadership Perspectives:
Dhruv Khurana, Founder and Creative Director of Almost Gods, stated that Hyderabad possesses a strong cultural identity and a dynamic creative community. He emphasized that opening in the city goes beyond expanding retail presence, serving instead to establish a collaborative space where fashion, culture, art, music, and community converge while remaining aligned with the brand’s core identity.
