Sri City Companies Donated Utility Supplies To Anganwadi Centres In Surrounding Villages

As part of their social responsibility efforts, Sri City Japanese Companies Group (SJCG) and Pricol donated utility supplies to Anganwadi centers in nearby villages on Wednesday.

In a ceremony held by the Sri City Foundation at Anganwadi centers in Mallavaripalem West, Thondur Society, Madanapalem, and Ramachandrapuram, Japanese officials including Mr. Akira of Isuzu, Mr. Sakabae of Aisan, Mr. Itho of Nittan Valves, Mr. Tane Gawa of IMOP and Mr. Ogawa of Miyama, along with Mrs. Nireesha Sannareddy from the Sri City Foundation, distributed the supplies. The donated materials, which included LED TVs, cabinets, student chairs, play equipment, gas stoves, and cookers, were valued at over Rs. 2 lakhs.

In a separate event, Pricol’s plant head Mr. Prasath donated supplies, such as induction stoves, stainless steel plates, small plastic chairs, LED TVs, and educational materials for students to Anganwadi centres in Aroor and Thonduru villages. The total cost of this initiative was around Rs. 1.5 lakhs.

Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director of Sri City, expressed his appreciation for the efforts of SJCG and Pricol, stating that “We are delighted by the noble act of Sri City businesses supporting all nearby government schools by providing essential supplies, educational tools, furniture, and infrastructure.”

Mr. Rameshkumar, Vice President (Customer Relations) of Sri City, and Mr. Surendra Kumar, Senior Manager of the Sri City Foundation, were also present at the event.
