Southwest Airlines leadership calls on Hon’ble CM Revanth Reddy in Secretariat

Major U.S. airline Southwest to establish its Global Innovation Centre in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Hon’ble Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed delight over the announcement of U.S. major Southwest Airlines establishing a global innovation centre in Hyderabad. The announcement was made during the Chief Minister’s meeting with the Southwest delegation in Secretariat on Thursday, along with Hon’ble Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy.
He met Southwest Airlines Chief Information Officer Lauren Woods, Chief Technology Officer Tom Merritt, Jason Shying, Head, Legal Counsel, and Sarthak Brahma from HEX Advisory Group.
The Chief Minister welcomed the senior leadership from Southwest Airlines who have chosen to launch their Global Innovation Center in Hyderabad to support the evolution of their business strategy. Explaining the growth story of Hyderabad, he mentioned the government’s ambitious vision for Telangana to achieve a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and a $3 trillion economy by 2047, as part of the state’s “Telangana Rising 2047” vision.
Special Chief Secretary, Chief Minister’s Office, Jayesh Ranjan and Special Secretary to Chief Minister B. Ajith Reddy also attended the meeting.
