TAL Children’s Day 2024

Telugu Association of London (TAL), Children's Day celebrations were held in Feltham Assembly Hall, London Borough of Hounslow. More than 500 people attended the event where students of TAL Culture Center (TCC) along with other children entertained the audience with classical music and traditional dance performances. The short play presented with the theme of sustainability giving a message about recycling and reducing plastic waste impressed both children and adults alike.
Awards were presented to winners who participated in Telugu language competitions aimed promoting the language which was warmly welcomed by the Telugu fraternity. The Chief Guest, The Worshipful The Mayor of Hounslow, Councilor Karen Smith, praised the volunteers of TAL for their services. She said that it was enjoyable to mingle with the locals and celebrate the various cultural and sporting events organized throughout the year. Special congratulations were given to the TAL
Culture Team for curating this program. Culture Trustee Sreedevi Alleddula thanked the culture team members and Roy Boppana for helping to make this program a success. She said it was gratifying to see participation from many young volunteers which she said should be an inspiration to others. TCC Trustee Ashok Madishetti informed about Telugu language and culture lessons conducted at TAL Culture Centre. Chairman of the organization Ravi Sabba, other trustees, Anil Ananthula, Kiran Kappeta, Venkat Neela, Ravi Mocherla attended the event.
