Spiritual Foundation awards 1 lakh rupees to G. Nagalakshmi
Memphis, Tennessee, USA December 20, 2025: The founders of the Spiritual Foundation, Dr. Ramana and Mrs. Chandraprabha Vasili, announced that they will provide financial assistance of one lakh rupees to G. Nagalakshmi, a student at Pragathi Women’s Degree College in Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad, to support her higher education. In memory of the eminent editor, writer, poet, founder of Master C. V. V. Yogashram, and distinguished yoga exponent, the late Sri Sharvari and Mrs. Yamini Devi. The Foundation has resolved to donate one lakh rupees every year to poor students in the Telugu states.
Currently pursuing her second year of BCA (Computer Applications), Nagalakshmi recently presented a research paper at the International Conference on Perspectives of Vishwarshi Vasili’s Literature organized by the Telugu Department of Madurai Kamaraj University. Her paper received high praise from distinguished professors including Dr. G.S. Mohan of Bangalore University, Dr. Vistali Shankar Rao of Madras University, Dr. Jonnalagadda Venkata Ramana of Madurai Kamaraj University, as well as many other renowned scholars of Vishwarshi Vasili. She was also honored with the Best Paper Presentation Award.
Mrs. Chandraprabha mentioned that Nagalakshmi was informed about opportunities to pursue Master’s degrees in countries such as Australia, Europe, Canada, and the USA, along with prospects for skilled employment. Dr. Ramana stated that the amount announced by the Spiritual Foundation for the year 2026 will soon be handed over to Nagalakshmi.
