Nata Atlanta Day Was Grand Success

NATA Atlanta Day program was organized in a grand way by NATA Atlanta Team in Atlanta on April 22 Saturday at Ashiana Banquet Hall in Norcross GA. The main purpose of the event was to showcase NATA with its goals of promoting Telugu culture and performing Community Service. The event was also planned to promote NATA Dallas Convention to be held on Jun 30, July 1, July 2 in Dallas and raise funds for the convention. As part of service goal, the NATA Atlanta Day Youth Program was included.

During NATA Atlanta Day, Youth Talent competitions and cultural programs were organized. NATA Atlanta Day Youth program started around 5 PM with Jyoti Prajwal Anam by NATA Team and Genesha

Prayer song. The first item was a motivational speech by Mr. J.P James to instill entrepreneurship mindset and how to raise capital for your ideas for middle school and high school students. MR JP James

has excellent background in entrepreneurship, finance and education. The speech was well received by the youth, adults present at the event as well as those who watched through live streaming. Then Talent competition were organized by Youth Program Coordinators, Guru Paradarami and Deepthi Doddla.

Fifteen kids participated and showcased their talent in singing, dancing and playing instrument with a two minute time limit for each participant. Judges (Vahini Raagala and Subba Rao Maddali) evaluated the participants and provided feedback for each participant and selected top three kids and cash prizes were given to winners. Certificates were given to all participants. The Youth Program ended with excellent Group Dance performances by kids from Srivalli Budaraju and Srilaxmi Dosapati teams that were well applauded by the audience.

The main NATA Atlanta Day event started at 7 PM with Jyoti Prajwal Anam by the leaders present and Welcome Invocation Song in praise of Lord Ganesha by Neelima Gaddamanugu Team was the inaugural

event. Well appreciated Cultural events (Musical medley By Six strings, Lazy Dance, B/Tollywood Medley by Arya Dance Academy. Kuchipudi Dance and Tollywood Medley by Pushyami Gottipati teams) followed while guests enjoyed appetizers and beverages and cocktails. NATA Program Segment started with a great welcome speech by Guru Paradarami NATA Standing Committee Chair welcoming guests

and explaining about NATA and NATA Atlanta Day. Then NATA DAY Event Main Coordinator and NATA BOD, Ravi Kandimalla talked about NATA goals, activities, past 2014 NATA Atlanta convention, NATA Atlanta Day event and requested the community to attend upcoming NATA Dallas Convention and make it success. After that, all NATA Atlanta Team including NATA NCA Srinivasulu Kotluru, NATA BOD Ram Bhupal Panga and local community leaders including Bala Indurti, Goutham Goli, Tangirala Satyanarayana Reddy, Kiran Pasham, Srini Vangimalla, Karun Asireddy and others were invited to stage

and together they welcomed NATA President, Dr. Sridhar Korsapati on to the stage. Dr. Sridhar Korsapati talked about NATA organization, its community service and cultural activities and upcoming NATA Dallas Convention. He also requested Atlanta community to attend Dallas convention in big way and donate funds to the convention. Then a NATA Dallas Convention Promotional Video was played for the audience. NATA Organization leadership slides were also presented. NATA Idol and NATA Beauty Pageant

Organisers from Atlanta, Deepthi Doddla and Madhavi Indurti provided details about these upcoming events. Ravi Kandimalla , NATA Day Coordinator managed Donor recognition along with Other Fund Raising Team members ( Sreenivasulu Kotlure and Venkat Duggireddy NATA RVP) while NATA President felicitated the donors. Special Thanks to Mr. Goutham Goli for constant support to NATA and upgrading donation amount at our request. NATA felicitated Mr. Bala Indurti, President , Sankara Nethralaya USA for being awarded Sankara Ratna , highest honor from Sanakara Nethralaya organization for his outstanding charitable service. NATA Atlanta Team also recognized sponsors (Byte Graph Productions,

Suvidha Groceries, SSSD Temple, Shekhar Putta Real Estate Agency) by inviting them to the stage and giving time to talk to guests. Mr. Dilip Tunki, Johns Creek City Councilor was felicitated by NATA for his public service. The second Cultural segment followed with excellent performances (Interactive questions by Jhansi Reddy, B/Tollywood by Crazy Vogue Dance Team, Six Strings, Semi classical by Hema Shilpa). Then with a pause in cultural program, NATA President and NATA Team felicitated National and local Telugu Organizations. Ravi Kandimalla recognized volunteers who helped with the event. NATA Atlanta team members Pushyami Gottipati, Cultural Coordinator, Guru Paradarami, Youth Programs Coordinator, Deepthi Reddy, Youth Programs Coordinator, Raghu Sagili and Sridhar Sirgiri, Venue Coordinators, Ravi Boreddy, Event Registration & Logistics Coordinator, Jhansi Reddy Muthyala, Cultural Team member and Hema Shilpa Uppala Cultural Team member were recognized for hard work and time contributed for the event. Then Lavanya Guduru was felicitated for being excellent anchor for the program followed by vote of thanks by Raghu Sagili, NATA RVP. After that a grand finale Fashion Show organized by Pushyami Gottipati, NATA RVP and NATA Atlanta Day Cultural Coordinator entertained the audience and was a huge success.

The NATA Atlanta Day was grand success with over 400 people attending the event including Youth Programs and Main event with amazing and entertaining cultural program, excellent food arrangementsincluding snacks sponsored by Biryani Pot Restaurant at the Youth event, Excellent Dinner by Ashiana Banquet Hall, Beverage and Cocktails at evening program, Excellent Audio/Video with LED Wall , Event Photography and Video Services by Byte Graph Productions ( Prashant Kolllipara), Digital Flyer and Digital Content Preparation by Parthasarathy ( Parthu ) from LordlyDigital and NATA India Team, Anchoring by Mrs. Lavanya Guduru, Live Internet Streaming through YouTube by Sakshi TV USA/ABR Productions/USTV1 (CEO Anil Bodireddy) , TV9 Media coverage by Shiva Ramadugu.
