The Mana American Telugu Association (MATA) 2nd Convention 2026 concluded on a historic note, bringing together more than 7,500 Telugu families from across North America for an unforgettable two-day celebration at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, Pennsylvania. Blending culture, spirituality, entertainment, leadership, innovation, and community service, the convention emerged as one of the largest and most vibrant Telugu gatherings ever organized in North America.
A Star-Studded Celebration
The convention transformed into a grand festival of Telugu pride with the presence of some of the biggest names from the entertainment industry.
Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) delivered an electrifying live concert that had thousands of attendees singing and dancing in celebration, while Ram Miriyala’s live musical performance added another unforgettable experience.
Popular film personalities Nikhil Siddhartha, Aishwarya Rajesh, legendary actress Jaya Prada, Suman, Ali, Hollywood actor Vishy Ayyar, Shiva Reddy, Adhire Abhi, Sunami Sudhakar, Mimicry Ramesh, and several other artists captivated audiences with their performances and interactive sessions.
The celebrations were hosted by Nikhil Vijayendra Simha on the Grand Banquet evening, while Suma Kanakala and Pradeep Machiraju brought extraordinary energy and excitement to the main convention day.
Honoring Excellence and Lifetime Achievements
A special highlight of the convention was the presentation of the MATA Lifetime Achievement Award to legendary actress Jaya Prada, preceded by a mesmerizing tribute by more than 30 classical dancers. The convention also honored Dr. M. S. Reddy and Dr. Haranath Policherla with the prestigious Pride of India Awards for their exceptional contributions to science, medicine, innovation, and humanitarian service.
Recognizing outstanding leadership, innovation, service, and contributions to society, the MATA Excellence Awards 2026 honored distinguished individuals across business, philanthropy, entrepreneurship, arts, community service, humanitarian service, cinema, and global Telugu heritage. The recipients included T. P. Srinivas Rao, Bhaskar Ganti, Sainath Karnati, Swathi Atluri, Damu Gedala, Dr. Vijaya Bhasker Bolgam, Nageswara Rao Pujari, Raju Chamarthi, and Krishna Maddipatla, whose remarkable achievements reflect MATA’s commitment to celebrating excellence and inspiring future generations.
Where Spirituality United Thousands
The convention delivered a powerful message of harmony by commencing the main celebrations with joint prayers offered by an Imam, a Christian Pastor, and a Hindu Priest, symbolizing MATA’s vision of unity beyond boundaries.
Thousands of devotees witnessed the magnificent Sri Sita Rama Shobha Yatra, followed by the Bhadradri Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam and Pattabhishekam, recreating one of Telugu culture’s most cherished spiritual traditions on American soil.

The historic convention was successfully organized under the leadership of Ramana Kiran Duddagi (President),Sreedhar Gudala (Convenor), Vijaya Bhaskar Kalal (General Secretary), Praveen Guduru (EVP), and Kalyani Bellamkonda (Convention Coordinator) under the guidance of Srinivas Ganagoni (Founder & AC Member), Pradeep Samala (Founder & AC Member) and Jithender Reddy (AC Member).
