The USA EB-5 Investor Visa is still the fastest route to get a Green Card: the USA Immigration Experts

The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC), the apex bilateral Chamber synergising India-US Economic Engagement, organised a knowledge sharing session on Saturday late evening in a city hotel, Deccan Serai, Hitech City, Near Raheja Mindspace . It was a talk on the USA EB-5 Investor Visa Program Overview

The Team from New York Immigration Fund, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) approved EB-5 Regional Centre addressed the session. Mr Ilya Fishkin, An Immigration Attorney, a Specialist in Immigration Law, Mr Subba Raju Pericherla, Partner, EB5ive Immigration Services and Mr Sampann Malhotra, Partner, EB5ive Immigration Services, spoke on the occasion. Over 50 industrialists and members of IACC attended the same.

Addressing the media, Mr Ilya Fishkin, Esq., Immigration Attorney, said that, amidst the general confusion and anxiety surrounding immigration rules, given the long backlogs for Indian immigrants in various categories, EB-5 remains the fastest route to obtain an American Green Card.

However, the investor should carefully evaluate the regional centre and the projects as well as carefully examine the criteria such as the Documented History, any Lawsuits, failed projects, return of capital in past projects, and the dependence on EB-5 capital for completion of projects, approval of Permanent Green Cards, among others.

Strengths of EB-5 in the current context: it is self-sponsored, you
don’t need employer sponsorship. Other employment-based routes (e.g. EB-2, EB-3) often require a job offer. EB-5 gives you more control.

With U.S. President Donald Trump tightening visa regulations, an increasing number of Indians are turning to the American government–sponsored “Invest in the US and Get a Green Card” scheme — officially known as the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program — as a reliable pathway to live their American dream. The program is open to Indian citizens and other non-immigrants who are willing to invest and intend to permanently reside in the USA.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Subba Raju Pericherla and Mr Sampann Malhotra, Partner, EB5ive Immigration Services, explained that securing permanent residency in the U.S. has become increasingly challenging for foreign nationals. To address this, the U.S government offers the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program, a federal initiative designed to help qualified individuals and their families gain permanent status through investment.
