Houston Meet and Greet – ATA Convention 2024: Harmonious & Exceeded Expectations

As many of us know, 18th ATA (American Telugu Association) Convention and Youth Conference is going to happen in Atlanta this year, from June 7th to 9th in a profound and prolific way. Some programs are already happening in parallel, several volunteers are working relentlessly. Get togethers are happening across the US, to create more awareness and raise funds. Houston is one of the biggest cities in America and has been a strong supporter of ATA for ages. They have a fantastic team led by Sreedhar Kanchanakuntla and Jayaprakash Mudhireddy. Convention Kick off meeting was held on March 1st at Houston. It was a beautiful evening, where more than 200 people assembled, got to know various details of the convention from local and national leadership. Attendees have shown enormous interest and many have expressed their willingness to contribute and participate. ATA President Madhu Bommineni, Convention Convener Kiran Pasham and former presidents Srinivas Pinnapureddy, Karunakar Asireddy were present, addressed the group and mingled with all, which was quite motivating and inspirational.

Under Sreedhar, Jayaprakash’s leadership and support from Jagapathi Reddy Veerati, Bangar Reddy, Dayakar Davalapur, Venkat Reddy Garlapati, Srinivas Pinnapureddy, Damodar Jamilli, Chandu Madireddy and many others, Houston team was able to raise more funds than expected. A heartfelt thanks to all our donors who made this possible. All the questions and doubts raised were addressed well. Many people were happy to meet and greet their friends, got new acquaintances and friendships. Dinner and beverages were served. Organizers thanked all the participants, donors, leaders, volunteers and concluded the event successfully.
