Europeʼs First Ever Satavadhanam by Sri Vaddiparthi Padmakar garu

Telugu Association of London (TAL) made history today as it hosted the first-ever Satavadhanam in Europe, featuring the renowned scholar, Tribhaashaa Maha Sahasravadhani, founder of Eluru Sri Pranava Peetham, Brahmasree Vaddiparthi Padmakar garu. The all-day event drew language enthusiasts from across the country, who were enthralled by the maestro’s linguistic prowess.
Rajesh Toleti has taken the role of Sanchalakudu on the event day which was divided into four modules. Prucchakulu challenged the scholar with 25 samasyalu, 25 dattapadulu, 25 varnanalu, and 25 aasuvulu all of which he answered effortlessly with wit and wisdom. Vaddiparthi Satavadhanam captivated the audience with his ability to engage with people from all walks of life, young and old, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.
In a special honour, TAL presented Vaddiparthi Padmakar garu with the title “Avadhana Murari.” Expressing his gratitude, Vaddiparthi Padmakar garu lauded TAL’s efforts in organizing such a monumental event, entirely driven by volunteers. He also highlighted the significance of this being his 20th Satavadhanam and the fastest one completed in just 5 hrs 30 minutes.
The event was a resounding success, thanks to the dedicated efforts of the TAL team, including Chairman Ravi Sabba, trustees Sreedevi Aleddula, Ashok Madishetti, Anil Ananthula, Ravi Mocherla, Venkat Neela and Kiran Kappeta as well as core members Balaji Callur, Surya Kandukuri, Kishore Kasturi and Sridhar Medichetty. Cultural Trustee Sreedevi Aleddula extended her thanks to the sponsors and volunteers Subha Rani, Srivalli, Jayasimha, Kalyan, Krishna Kishore, Murali Kota, Nagendra, Sharmila, Krishna Palakollu, Sudha Chada, Venkareswara Rao, Roy Boppana and Sudha Bolisetty who contributed to the event’s success.
