Dr Chandra Pemmasani kickstarts Business awards 2025 for Telugu Entrepreneurs in USA

Telugu Times, the Global Telugu Newspaper operated from San Francisco and has been serving the Telugu community in USA for the last 22 years, started Telugu Times Business Excellence Awards in 2023 and conducted successfully for two years in 2023 in San Jose, California and in 2024 in Dallas, Texas.

Dr Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani, Hon’ble Minister of State for Rural Development & Communications , Govt of India launched the website : businessawards.telugutimes.net and unveiled the poster announcing the Awards 2025.

Dr Pemmasani urged the Telugu Entrepreneurs in USA to participate in Telugu Times Business Excellence Awards 2025 to be held in New York on Saturday, 24 May 2025 and appreciated Telugu Times for creating this platform for Telugu entrepreneur community to get recognised and awarded for excellence.

Mr SubbaRow Chennuri, Editor & CEO of Telugu Times , USA said that this 3rd edition of Awards activity is fortunate to have the attention and wishes of Dr Pemmasani, Hon’ble Minister, Govt of India and also a successful Telugu NRI Entrepreneur from USA. He explained that awards in 2023 and 2024 were well appreciated and are being scaled up year after year.

Business excellence awards 2025 will be held on Saturday, 24 May 2025 for which Federation of Indian Associations has come as Organising partner. National Telugu Associations TANA, ATA,! NATS, TTA, GTA are Community partners. The Awards 2025 will have more than 10 categories like IT Services, IT Technology, IT Start UPs, Real Estate & Land Development, Health & Hospitals, Hotels & Restaurants, Banking, Tax, Insurance & Legal, Community Services, Legal & Immigration, Pharma, Cinema & Entertainment etc.

Mr Subba Row requested Telugu Entrepreneurs in active business in USA to send their nominations because Entry only by Nomination or Referral. He also informed that an Advisory panel with eminent business and community leaders will select from the nominations an award in each category. The Category wise selection will also divide the the companies into two groups by their turnover like upto $25M one category and $25M and above is one category. This event is a business event and even audience will come on registration. The event will have a session with an eminent person coming as Key note speaker and Fireside Chat by eminent people on important and relevant topic.
