APTA Austin Celebrates Women’s Day with Dr. Jess Garza as Chief Guest

Austin, Texas – The American Progressive Telugu Association (APTA) Austin Chapter, in collaboration with APTA Austin Leadership, proudly hosted a vibrant Women’s Day celebration on March 16th, featuring esteemed guest speaker Dr. Jess Garza, TED speaker, and advocate for women’s empowerment. 

Dr. Jess Garza, renowned for her captivating TED talks and commitment to fostering inclusive environments, graced the event as the chief guest, inspiring attendees with her empowering message and insights into leadership and diversity. 

The event, attended by 100+ members of the Telugu community and allies passionate about gender equality, offered a platform to celebrate the achievements and contributions of women in various fields, including healthcare. 

Interactive discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities were part of the event, providing attendees with valuable insights and connections to support their professional and personal growth. 

Additionally, the event recognized a few outstanding women as APTA Nari and showcased talent through the APTA Show, awarding them for their remarkable achievements. 

The celebration also featured various games, a photo booth, entertainment, and delicious food, adding to the festive atmosphere. 

The APTA Austin Women’s Day celebration underscored the organization’s commitment to empowering women and promoting diversity within the Telugu community and beyond.
