AIA Hosts “Giving Back to the Local Community Together” Event, Uniting Community Leaders, First Responders & Volunteers

Association of Indo Americans (AIA) successfully hosted the special community event, “Giving Back to the Local Community Together,” on Sunday morning, December 14, 2025, from 9:00 AM in Fremont. The event brought together approximately 200 guests, including 25+ officials, community leaders, families, and volunteers, all united by a shared commitment to service and community well-being.

AIA extends its sincere gratitude to all supporters, attendees, and volunteers whose generosity and participation made this significant gathering possible. The event served as a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when the community comes together with a shared purpose to “Giving Back to Local Community Together.”

As part of the event, AIA and supporting teams donated contributions to three vital local organizations as follows:
1) Fremont Police Department – supporting youth programs and scholarships for local students
2) Fremont Fire Department – providing toys for children in need
3) Tri-City Volunteers Food Bank – supplying free food to community members facing food insecurity

During the event, AIA formally recognized first responders, community leaders, and local service organizations whose dedication and contributions continue to enhance the safety, health, and quality of life of residents throughout the region.

Part of the event, for fostering a spirit of volunteerism and civic engagement across generations, children (under age 18) displayed their artwork and winners from the arts competition were recognized.

Association of Indo Americans (AIA) is a conglomeration of 50+ different non-profit organizations in the Silicon Valley collectively working on this important event for “giving back to the local community”. AIA thanks all partners, officials, and community members for making this event a success and looks forward to continuing collaborative efforts that strengthen and uplift the local community.
