San Jose Set to Host AIA SWADES 2026 Silicon Valley’s Largest Multinational Parade

The San Francisco Bay Area is gearing up for a monumental cultural gathering as AIA SWADES 2026 returns on Saturday, August 15, 2026. Hosted at the iconic Plaza de Cesar Chavez in Downtown San Jose, the event brings thousands of community members together to mark two historic milestones simultaneously: the United States’ 250th Independence Day and India’s 80th Independence Day.

The grandeur of this year’s festival is amplified by a high-profile lineup of guests, blending cinematic appeal with diplomatic and civic leadership:

Grand Marshal: Acclaimed Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu will serve as the Honorable Guest and Grand Marshal, offering fans and the local Indian diaspora an unforgettable experience.
