Join the DARA 5K Walk & Run and Free Health Camp

DARA : The Dallas Area Rayalaseema Association (DARA) is hosting its 5K Walk & Run event on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Warren Sports Complex in Frisco, TX. The event begins at 8:00 AM, and attendees are encouraged to bring family and friends to participate in a morning dedicated to fitness, community spirit, and fellowship. Proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to orphanages and old-age homes to support the association’s community service initiatives.

Free Health Camp Initiative:
In addition to the walk and run, a free health camp will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, presented by Passion Health Advanced Primary Care. This initiative aims to prioritize community wellness by offering several health screenings, including:

• Body Mass Index (BMI) assessment.
• Blood Pressure (BP) check-up.
• Electrocardiogram (ECG).
• HbA1c diabetes screening.

The health camp also provides general health consultations, with female physicians available for ladies. The organizers specifically invite parents or relatives visiting from India to attend, ensuring they can receive medical assessments and guidance for their healthcare needs. Additional blood tests are also available at an extra cost.
