Join TAGC in Making a Difference Feed My Starving Children Volunteer Drive
TAGC: The Telugu Association of Greater Chicago (TAGC) is warmly inviting community members, youth, and families to come together for a powerful day of community service and humanitarian aid. As displayed in the official promotional the organization is hosting a meal-packing volunteer event in partnership with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC). Driven by the mission that every packed meal spreads hope and helps nourish vulnerable children worldwide, this initiative offers a direct way for the local diaspora to stand together and make a global impact.
Event Logistics and Details:
The volunteer drive will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 1:30 PM to 3:45 PM. The packing session is hosted at the Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) facility located at 555 Exchange Ct, Aurora, IL. This is a completely free, family-friendly community event; however, due to strict venue capacity guidelines, advance registration is mandatory and must be completed by July 8, 2026.
Community Leadership and Participation:
Organized under the guidance of the 2026 Executive Committee & Board of Directors, the drive is heavily championed by TAGC leadership, including President Archana Poddutoori and Youth Chair Sirisha Madduri. By dedicating just a few hours of their time, volunteers will actively participate in hand-packing nutrient-rich meals destined for families facing severe hunger crisis zones across the globe. Interested individuals can secure their volunteer slots by scanning the QR code on the flyer or by registering online directly at www.tagc.org. For additional inquiries, the committee can be reached via their dedicated youth outreach channel at Youth@tagc.org.
