Driving Environmental Change Greater Atlanta Telangana Society Inspires Youth Through Adopt a Road Initiative
GATeS: The Greater Atlanta Telangana Society (GATeS) has launched a meaningful civic initiative under its exclusive youth enrichment activity banner, titled “Adopt a Road.” Rooted in the organization’s core values of service and culture, this environmental campaign aims to foster community responsibility and leadership among the youth. Driven by the empowering motto “Clean Roads. Strong Community. Better Tomorrow.”the drive encourages community members to take a proactive stance in building a cleaner, greener Atlanta.
Activity Logistics and Scope:
The cleanup drive focuses on a dedicated two-mile stretch of roadway between Old Atlanta Road and Buford Highway. This environmental event is scheduled for Sunday, June 21, 2026, starting promptly at 8:00 AM EST. Volunteers participating in the initiative are requested to complete both check-in and check-out processes, and they will be awarded an official Volunteer Certificate at checkout to recognize their contribution to civic maintenance.

The grand execution of this community-driven program is backed by the GATeS Team 2026 leadership panel.
