Samantha & Team “Subham” thanks audience for extraordinary response in theatres

Tra La La Moving Pictures, led by acclaimed actor-producer Samantha Ruth Prabhu, maiden production, “Subham” released worldwide on May 9th, Friday. Following the encouraging response from Paid Premieres, the film got an overwhelming response on opening day.

The film collected 1.5 cr on Day 1 gross at the box office. The sensational response continued on Day 2. Team visited a few theatres in Vijayawada, Guntur, Hyderabad and attended insta live. Actors Harshith Reddy, Gavireddy Srinivas, Charan Peri, Shriya Kontham, Shravani Lakshmi, Shalini Kondepudi, Vamshidhar Goud, director Praveen Kandregula joined the live.

Team Subham expressed their gratitude for the overwhelming love and support received from the audience. Samantha, one of the prominent faces of the project, highlighted how proud she was of the entire team, calling them “multifaceted” and full of talent.

She emphasized that Subham isn’t just another film but a wholesome family entertainer that boasts strong performances, a refreshing concept, and compelling writing and direction. Fans were quick to inquire about the possibility of a sequel, to which Samantha responded with an enthusiastic “yes,” hinting at Subham 2 in the future.

She also revealed her favorite scene from the film, where the character Shravani asks Gavireddy for a remote – an interaction that resonated deeply with the audience. Samantha didn’t miss the opportunity to give some heartfelt advice to the young actors involved in Subham. She encouraged them to preserve their innocence and keep their ambition alive.

In a candid confession, She said, “I didn’t want to do that cameo. Even the day before the shoot, I said I couldn’t do it. Now, I feel glad that I did.” The live concluded on a high note when actor Rag Mayur made a surprise appearance. Samantha shared that during a theatre visit where the crowd erupted more for Maradesh Babu’s entry – his iconic character from Cinemabandi – than for her own.

Subham team joyfully connected with audience. Samantha also invited the younger cast to share their memorable experiences. They shared special memories as the team basked in the success of their beloved film.
