Ram Charan Completes 18 Years, Brand-New Mass Poster From Peddi Released

Mega Powerstar Ram Charan, celebrating 18 glorious years in cinema, is diving deep into one of the most ambitious roles of his career with the much-awaited Pan-India film Peddi. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame, the film promises a raw, emotionally charged story set against a rugged rural backdrop, and the latest poster is a testament to that grit. Produced by Vriddhi Cinemas’ Venkata Satish Kilaru and prestigiously presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, Peddi is being crafted on a massive canvas. IVY Entertainment is on board for the film as co-presenter and co-producer.
Unveiled on the special occasion of Charan’s 18th anniversary in the industry, since his blockbuster debut in Chirutha, the poster captures him in a strikingly mass and intense look. Standing alone on a railway track, with a backpack slung over his shoulder and a beedi between his fingers, Charan exudes a massy vibe. His rugged beard, fierce eyes, and unpolished styling reflect the raw soul of Peddi’s narrative.
But this is just one of many layers. Charan is sporting multiple looks in the film, each reflecting different emotional beats of the story. His physical transformation for Peddi, combined with intense prep and immersive training, speaks volumes about his dedication to the role.
Academy Award-winning composer AR Rahman scores the music for the film, and the first single will be released soon.
Currently, the shoot of the movie is underway, with Ram Charan, and other lead cast taking part in the production works.
Janhvi Kapoor is the female lead, while Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma will be seen in crucial roles. The film also boasts top-tier technicians, with R Rathnavelu handling cinematography and National Award-winner Navin Nooli on the editing table.
Peddi is slated for a grand theatrical release on March 27, 2026, coinciding with Ram Charan’s birthday.
